Campground review - Cal Expo RV Park

On our way to Marysville to visit my dad and step mom we stopped at Cal Expo RV Park in Sacramento. A unique spot

Nearby attractions - 8 - Near an and all Sacramento attractions.

Staff - 8 - Nice and friendly folks.

Natural surroundings - 6 - Trees surround park, but inside park it feels more like a parking lot. Very bright street lights shine into your rig.

Value - 7 - We paid $35 a night for full hook-ups, pull-through site.

Bathrooms - 8 - were clean and secure, but you have to leave a $10 cash deposit for key.

Roominess - 8 - Long enough and wide enough to park your toadie next to you.

Facility fun - 4 - Didn't see much to do, but our boys loved the petting the dozen or so ferile cats living at the park.

Cleanliness - 9 - A well-kept park.

Facility usefulness - 7 - Laundry, exchange library, small store.

Overall - 7 - Clean place to stay if you like cats. Bring your sleep masks for the bright lights.
