Campground review - Blanca RV Park

We spent David's 6th birthday hiding out form 60 mph gusts in an RV park not far from from Great Sand Dunes National Park. Blanca RV Park is a just about as cheap as boondocking with hot showers!

Nearby attractions - 6 - Close to Great Sand Dunes and Fort Garland.

Staff - 8 - Spoke with owner. She is a quiet but nice and helpful lady.

Natural surroundings - 6 - Some trees in the park, but not a real feeling of being in nature.

Value - 9 - We paid $10 a night for a pull-through with full hook-ups using our Passport America card.

Bathrooms - 6 - We were so looking forward to hot showers after all the sand and grit from Great Sand Dunes. We were not disappointed.

Roominess - 7 - Average sized sites, we could barely pull our 32 foot rig in with the toadie on it.

Facility fun - 2 - Not much to do here. A couple of teepees for the boys to play in.

Cleanliness - 5 - Park is definitely older, but not filthy..

Facility usefulness - 7 - Propane, small exchange library, decent little camp store, laundromat.

Overall - 5 - Not a world class resort, but it is soo cheap and it beats showering and ding laundry in the RV!
