Campground review - Red Barn Campground

We had a quick overnight stay in Benson, Arizona before we headed out to Tombstone the next day. We didn't want to stay in pricey Tombstone. We were originally going to stay in the Walmart there, but it was prohibited. so we picked the Red Barn RV Campground.

Nearby attractions - 8 - Tucson is less than an hour away and Tombstone is less than 30 minutes away.

Staff - 7 - Owner helped us out. Friendly but liked to give tips on running and RV campground.

Natural surroundings - 7 - Sunsets and mountains are great. I10 is pretty close, train goes by whistling not quite far enough away.

Value - 7 - We paid $16.50 for a night with our Passport America card.

Bathrooms - NA - Never went to the campground bathrooms.

Roominess - 7 - Not too bad, we had an end site so we opened the door to an wide desert space.

Facility fun - 4 - They have a porch swing and some nice areas on site to walk around.

Cleanliness - 6 - Cheapest park in town, but not the nicest.

Facility usefulness -6 - They had a laundry facility but we didn't check it out. Didn't check much out here. No wifi, propane. nice dog walk.

Overall - 6 - No frills campground, but cheap!
