Our first and priority stop in Mississippi was in Booneville to visit Patsy's sister Jan Holley and her family. Jan and Mickey's two girls are grown young women and have children of their own. The Holley grandchildren are mostly boys ranging from a little baby to age 12. When we added our boys in and a trampoline and we had a regular boy fest!
The one exception was young Maddy, the one girl at nine years of age kept pointing out she was the only girl in the midst of a bunch of boys. I think she was actually OK with this reality, but propriety demanded she loudly protest being the lone girl.
We had a fun time visiting with Holleys and going to church with them on Sunday. Visiting family and friends in different corners of this country has been a highlight of our trip so far that we would not trade for anything!
