Campground Review - Sunshine RV Resort

Our stay at Sunshine RV Resort in Lake Placid, Florida was spectacular! They call themselves the friendliest RV Park in Florida and we can't argue with that claim!! Patsy blogged in detail about our stay at French Fries Under the Seat.

Staff - Everyone including the camp hosts were super friendly.

Nearby attractions - 7 - Lots of lesser know attractions in the area and within a a morning's drive to Port St. Lucie, Naples, Tampa, Orlando, etc..

Natural surroundings - 8 - Several mature trees and a lake are part of this park. Located close to intersection of highways 27 and 70, but really it is out in the country.

Value - 8 - We paid $34 a night for a pull-through gravel site with full hook-ups.

Bathrooms - 8 - Pretty clean, hot showers.

Roominess - 8 - Our particular site was a bit wider than normal, but a bit on the small size in length.

Facility fun - 10 - Fishing lake, horse shoe pits, shuffleboard, bocci court, basketball half-court, heated pool, lots of planned activities.

Cleanliness - 8 - Pretty clean park. Long term residents have nice and clean sites.

Facility usefulness - 10 -  Propane, laundry, wifi (extra charge), exchange library, Sunday church services, mail service.

Overall - 10 - This place was so friendly we have to give it triple thumbs up!
